SAGE Payroll/Bookkeeper
Description
This fast moving business services company based in East london seeks an experienced Bookkeeper to manage its finance function. reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for the following duties:
Processing the fortnightly payroll
Processing the monthly payroll
SMP/SSP payments
Pension Scheme
Attachment of Earnings
Monthly Invoicing
Debtors List
Bank Reconciliations
Supplier Payments
VAT returns
Year-end accounts and payroll
Monthly submission of figures to accountants
You will have the following skills:
Good all round computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook
Good organisational skills & be able to prioritise your own workload under pressure
Pleasant and confident telephone manner
Be able to work on your own initiative
You will be solely responsible for this job role, so you will be need to be able to work on your own, there will be some administrative back up for some parts of your role
Sage experience is essential – Sage payroll and Sage accounts
