Bookkeeper – Ref: 10026
A qualified AAT Bookkeeper who has recently been made redundant, available for temp and permanent opportunities,
Duties included:
- Everyday use of Sage 50 Accounts and Payroll, QuickBooks, Xero and VT
- Management and credit control of client purchase and sales ledgers
- Performing weekly sales, bank and credit card reconciliations
- Preparation and posting of prepayments, accruals and other ad-hoc journals
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Processing supplier payment runs on behalf clients
- Process and management of weekly/monthly payroll for clients under RTI reporting
- Process of payroll adjustments including bonuses, overtime, SSP and SMP
- Registering new companies/clients with HMRC and setting them up on Sage Payroll
- Liaising with HMRC to resolve general payroll issues on behalf of clients
Immediately available, has been with her recent employer for over 5 years, has excellent systems experience and realistic salary expectations.
