An ACCA Part Qualified Accountant with a degree in Accounting and Finance, this ambitious candidate is looking to further his career within a commercial environment. As an Assistant Accountant he has gained extensive accounting experience and is looking for further career progression and challenges. Currently studying for the ACCA exams he has an excellent work record combined with strong technical skills and realistic salary expectations.

Skills and Competencies

  • ACCA Part Qualified Accountant
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel user
  • Proficient in the use of multiple accounting systems such as Oracle financial system , Sage and QuickBooks
  • Excellent all-round communication skills; verbal and written by email and over the telephone
  • Able to manage a varied and challenging workload, delivering within set time scales
  • Assisting in the production of the monthly Management Accounts
  • Completing journal entries during the month end process within the given deadlines
  • Presentation of the prepared Management Accounts to budget holders and other internal stakeholders
  • Assisting in budget preparations and reforecast setting
  • Monthly Bank Reconciliations and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Variance Analysis
  • Working alongside Operations and Risk departments to ensure better financial controls and improvements to the financial process
  • Preparation of Accounts to submit local authorities for grant funded schemes
  • Assisting in the production of financial information for the tendering process

Petty cash Reconciliation and monitoring of purchase card use.
