• ACCA Part Qualified Accountant
• Advanced Microsoft Excel user
• Proficient in the use of multiple accounting systems such as Oracle financial system , Sage and QuickBooks
• Excellent all-round communication skills; verbal and written by email and over the telephone
• Able to manage a varied and challenging workload, delivering within set time scales
• Assisting in the production of the monthly Management Accounts
• Completing journal entries during the month end process within the given deadlines
• Presentation of the prepared Management Accounts to budget holders and other internal stakeholders
• Assisting in budget preparations and reforecast setting
• Monthly Bank Reconciliations and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Variance Analysis
• Working alongside Operations and Risk departments to ensure better financial controls and improvements to the financial process
• Preparation of Accounts to submit local authorities for grant funded schemes
• Assisting in the production of financial information for the tendering process

Petty cash Reconciliation and monitoring of purchase card use.
